Fionn Begley, Dara Haughey, Katie-Rose McCartan, Clara-Rose Marley, Cara Donaghy and Ronan Ward were an impressive sales team.Congratulations to Conn Keyes, P4 who won 2nd prize in the CIUU 2019 Year of the Pig Poster Competition. There was a huge number of entrants – a total of 1894 entries in the KS1 competition so to win 2nd prize is an amazing result
bearing in mind the volume of entries!
Conn and his family were invited to a presentation Gala night in the SWC in Dungannon. He is also invited to CIUU Chinese New Year event on 13 February 2019 in Waterfront Hall, Belfast where they will be presented on stage with their entry in full A1 poster size together with his prize and a prize for the school.
We would also like to express our thanks to your Mandarin Chinese tutor, Kong who supported our pupils with the competition.

We'd also like to congratulate our neighbouring parish school: St Teresa's PS Loughmacrory which came second in Tyrone with (52/60 points) and will also compete in the Ulster Final.
Thank you to all the parents, staff and governors who took the time to attend the Shared Education Dyslexia Literacy Workshop Wednesday 6th February . Feedback has been really positive!
We are indebted to the two Educational Psychologists who led the workshop, the three school's Special Educational Needs Coordinators and the School Staff who also contributed to the success of this event.
The workshop was arranged by Mrs Corey who provides learning support for children in the three schools.
