  ST BRIGID’S DAY

  We would like to thank all the grandparents who visited the school for our special tribute to them for the support they give to our children. We would also like to invite grandparents back to the school to help the children make St Brigid's Crosses (please bring rushes etc) on Friday 30^th January at 10.00am.

  Applications close at 12 noon on 19 February 2026. It is important to note that applications are not considered on a first come, first served basis.

• Extreme weather Policy (Heavy Snow)

  St Colmcille's PS will be open tomorrow, Tuesday 6th January - it is our policy to make every effort to remain open whenever possible, however, during severe weather we advise parents and staff to use discretion regarding whether it’s safe to travel after heavy snow falls and attendance is not required.

  If it’s necessary to close the school a text will be sent to parents at the earliest opportunity.
