St Colmcille's Cross Country event was a great success
Our inter-school cross-country competition was a fantastic success. St Colmcille's won three of the four competitions:- Girls' relay, P7 Girls & P7 Boys.
We'd like to thank Michael and Sinead Kerr for organising the event & donating winners' cups & medals for all participating children, including teams from St Mary's Killyclogher, St Teresa'a PS Loughmacrory, Our Lady of Lourdes, Greencastle, and Gaelscoil na gCrann.
The success of our children in this event is very much influenced by the commitment that Michael has given to the school over the years. His motivational speeches and encouragement is appreciated by all the children and staff in the school.We'd also like to thank local exceptional runner, Eoin Mullan for presenting the medals.
Comhghairdeas d'Ava Marley who has been invited to join the NI Athletics running club in Mullusk which she achieved as a result of her outstanding achievements throughout the year. A massive achievement. We are extremely proud of her and are sure that she will go from strength, stamina and love for sport.
