Sperrin Soul Forest School After-school Programme at An Creagan
Dear parents
Please see attached information about an exciting after-school opportunity for children and families to take part in our upcoming autumn forest school sessions at An Creagán.
These are place-based (peatland and pioneer native woods, with links to local archaeological sites of interest), environmental education sessions with sustainable arts and crafts and bushcraft activities. The space is intentionally chosen and set-up to provide the space and environment for learners to explore and discover outdoors.
Forest school aims to foster a relationship with nature through regular personal experiences in order to develop long-term, environmentally sustainable attitudes and practices encompassing the seasons.
If you would like to know more about long-term, seasonal forest school, outdoor education and bushcraft opportunities for your school, please get in touch with Emma at An Creagan.
Kind regards
Peter Cush
Principal
