Eco Council -Energy Saving Week
Dear parents,
Thank you for participating in the Eco Council’s "Energy Saving Week" which took place from Monday 6th to Friday 10th January. We send the survey out to 250 families representing the 415 children in the school.
It was quite simple, we asked your child/children to complete the five energy saving activities and these everyday tasks can help reduce your home energy bills, while also educating your child about saving money and energy at home. We are delighted with the response form pupils and their families.

Day 1 - "I reduced my shower time by one minute!" - 365 pupils
Day 2 - "I turned the tap off when brushing my teeth!" 415 pupils
Day 3 - "I asked an adult to unplug any electrical items we were not using!" 381 pupils
Day 4 - "I asked ... to turn down the thermostat by 1 degree for 5 days!" 349 pupils
Day 5 "We turned the lights off when we left the room!" 398 pupils
