Congratulations to our boys' team which came joint second in team event out of all schools in Northern Ireland.
Liam McElhone came second home and Michael Kerr came 10th.
Both have qualified for Northern Ireland cross-country development team. This is the first time in the school's history that our Cross-country team made the podium at the Northern Ireland final.
Our girls team also competed really well but just missed out on the medals this time.
The children were excited to wear the new tops which have been donated by Sinead and Michael Kerr. Thanks also to the parents who support the team by bringing them to events. Thanks also to Miss Nicola Gillespie and Mr M Donnelly and Michael Kerr for the support they give to this sport over the years.

We had a wonderful couple of day last week when grandparents visited the school.
On Wednesday, we had two sessions at 9.45am and 10.15am when grandchildren in Foundation Stage followed by Key Stage 1 presented cards and read with their grandparents. The children were so excited
as can be seen in the photographs below.
Then on Thursday 1st February, we invited the grandparents of Key Stage 2 children to the school. Again the assembly was packed to capacity. Mr Treanor's class presented a short assembly and then everyone made St Brigid's crosses. Images are available on our facebook site, link below.
